Course Experience:

As the semester began I felt anxious. As it went along I felt really anxious as the quick project turnarounds started approaching. It was very challenging, each project pushed my time management skills. It pushed me to balance everything I had learned from past courses, and showed me where I could improve.

Ideation Process

Through out the ideation process, we were left to our own devices. Working together with eachother to formulate ideas and help guide our individual process to workshop our projects. Having guidance from our Professor as we went along through each project.

Speculative Project

The goal for this project was for us to learn how to speculate. Reading the book Speculative Everything by Anthony Dunne & Fiona Raby. Later taking time to reflect on the chapters we were assigned. Moving forward we began ideating and coming up with social dreams and going through the process as we have done for each project. Taking the time to bounce ideas around and collaborating with eachother to come up with a world. Manifesting our ideas into reality by challenging ourselves to do something we have never done before.

Eco/Sustainability Project

For this project we were tasked with creating a product (that we could make ourselves) relying on research and data, themed around Ecology and Sustainability.

Portofolio Zine:

Our first project was a rebrand project of our portfolio, resume, and personal brand logos. The deadline was very quick, so I felt as though I was scrambling to balance classes and projects. Like I was balancing a plate with multiple foods precariously placed on top as I tried making my way through a maze.

Showtell

Every Monday we began class by showing something cool, whether connected with the project or not, that we have made or seen. Something that we would like to share with the group. This was fun and allowed ourselves to share our thoughts and things that peaked our interests.
